Even the Hillbilly Musicians Can Be Fashionable.

For all of you who don't know, I LOVE country music history. It is what I specialized in at school and just took a break from working in Nashville. That being said, one of my favorite things is to look at old photos from country music history. And this week I found the jackpot on facebook.  I'll share a couple of the best here with you but please, please visit Owen Bradley's "Quonset Hut" Facebook Page.

To fill you in, Owen Bradley's "Quonset Hut" was one of the fore runners of recording history in Nashville. People like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Brenda Lee and many others did their recordings there. But check out these photos and go to their page to experience even more amazing history!

It is a shoe kind of day

So lately I've been going on a man hunt for shoes. I absolutely adore vintage shoes and I thought I needed to share some of my finds with you.

Vintage Funky Johansen Heels

The red and blue 'America' heels are probably my favorite. Too bad they are not in my size! Which are yours?
