LDK2 is run by, Levi and Deidre Kindall. They are husband and wife duo who enjoy creating together. Their LDK2 jewelry is just the beginning for these two, they hope to someday open their shop to home decor items such as small end tables, shelves, frames, etc.

Levi has a background in Graphic Design but prefers to work primarily in Sculpture and will soon finish his Bachelors in Fine Art. Deidre has studied clothing design and certainly enjoys fashion but is more easily captivated with hammering away at piece of brass.

Aside from etsy we are full-time parents to our wonderful and exuberant 4 year old son. They enjoy being outdoors, spending time as a family in the kitchen, reading books, and talking about the future during long road trips.

My newest of girl crushes is on Miss Zooey Deschanel. I am completely addicted to New Girl (pretty sure Jess Day and I would be best friends if she were real). I've come to the conclusion that I have not read nearly enough classic literature in my life and now is the time to play catch up. It is no secret that my life has been intensely shaped by country music. I spent my days as a child listening to the music, memorizing the lyrics and dreaming of singing them at the Grand Ole Opry. Although my tastes have grown in my older age, I still have a deep love for the historical past of country music and its stars.

Today my inspiration comes from June Carter Cash. Not only was the woman a famous comedian, singer and married to a legend like Johnny Cash but she also had an amazing wardrobe.

I was completely gawking over all the beautiful and vintage inspired dresses on the red carpet of the Golden Globes yesterday, that I felt like I just needed to share a couple of my favorites.
A girl can only dream about having a place to wear some of  these amazing gowns, back to my fantasy world I go.
