Dreaming: One Day I Will Have a Garden

I know it is only January but I cannot help but fantasize about flowers and springtime. I hope to someday have a garden half a beautiful as some of these.

Come To My Garden

I have always found refuge in growing a flower garden but sadly for me, my pride and joy is currently about 550 miles away. I've tried to make a small little container garden on my deck but it just not the same as open space, wildflowers and gorgeous perennials.
While I was home in Michigan visiting my parents, I figured I would take a couple shots of the garden that I spent a lot of my teenage years weeding, watering and planting.

Starting My Garden

I am an avid flower lover. And not having a yard of my own takes its tole come spring time. This year, I've decided to make a container garden on our porch. This is the very beginning of said garden. Keep posted to how many spaces I find on this little porch for my flower collection.
